AFP developer tools are designed for data stream developers to view, parse, and analyze AFP and IJPDS files. All utilities have a cross-platform desktop user interface for ease of use.
AFP PageMapper Utility converts AFP to XML. Designed to help data stream application developers get the information they need. It can extract information from AFP files to evaluate the original data, manipulate AFP documents and resources for customization, or simply analyze your AFP documents. This tool can be used as a first set conversion to go from AFP to many other formats including PDF. See the full AFP to PDF Converter for more details.
XML Browser Editor allows a user to view and edit any XML output files. However, this utility is specialized for AFP architecture. It quickly opens XML files and can easily handle a 4 GB file, where a traditional XML browser will be sluggish. The application includes custom configurations for the XML files produced by the TallPine AFP tool set and can easily be customized to handle other XML applications.
AFP to XML List Utility converts AFP to XML format that closely mirrors the AFP architecture standard described in the AFP MO:DCA reference manual that is managed by the AFP Consortium. The utility has a built-in XML browser capability that provides an effective means of viewing the XML file. Designed with performance in mind to quickly convert large AFP print stream files.
AFP XML Viewer displays the PageMapper XML file in a graphical display so the user can view changes to the XML file.
AFP Splitter takes an AFP file and divides along meta data and other identifiers within the AFP file. This allows for individual statements, or groups of statements, and each file contains all the necessary resources.
AFP Converter uses XML to produce an AFP file. Using in conjunction with a PageMapper XML output, a user can modify and adjust, then reproduce AFP file, or resources.
